I wrote this song for a friend of mine, Jack, who passed away in high school. He was a gentle giant, and a great guy. I still miss him sometimes, even though it's been years.

P.S. Bendell is my mother's maiden name, a Jewish name, and in that faith you leave small rocks, pebbles, on tombstones to show you've been there. That should explain the first line.
